FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE

The following is a demonstration of the precession of the equinoxes.

Instructions for interactive animation of the demonstration are provided below. The demonstration will center on the flight of the eagle beginning in 26,500 BC as the eagle touches down on the equator. It cycles upward (north) then outward (east) then down (south) and back (west) to the equator for a landing in 1 AD. The second cycle takes the eagle up and east where the flight is stopped as the eagle begins to come back down its glide slope in 18,000 AD.

The story of the young king on the wings of an eagle is very old. It predates the Bible, and Egypt. Egypt knew this as the flight of Isis in giving birth to Horus, the son of her dead husband, Osiris. Ancient Babylon knew the young king as Etana. Greece new the young king as Zeus and Ganymede. Hadrian was given this constellation as a lover boy who gave up his life so that Hadrian would be allowed to live on as the Emperor of Rome. We use Hadrian's lover's name for the asterism of the child on the eagle's wings, Antinous.

Modern astronomical references do not recognize Antinous as a constellation. This is in keeping with the materialistic vision of modern science, which denies that the spirits of the stars even exist. But for many thousands of years in prior experiences of human life on earth, Antinous had been known to possess the spirit of the Son of God. If we take the Greek rendition, then the first flight represents Zeus rising to fight the Titans, and take Mount Olympus from his father Cronos (Cepheus). The second flight represents the eagle of Zeus bringing Ganymede to Mount Olympus. To witness the effectiveness of Zeus, watch how Ophiuchus (Oph.) uses Serpens Cauda (serpents tail, Ser.) to aid in getting Ganymede (Antinous) onto Mount Olympus (Upper World). The celestial father also brings wisdom, Sagittarius, to the "upper world" as he elevates his offspring. This a fairly profound moral in any culture. It says a father would be wise to raise up his children in the way they should go. Thus, the spirits of the constellations were, and are, of major concern to the religions of the world, and that is why their cosmologies differ so drastically from the material sciences. Modern theology and science fail to preserve the sources of wisdom in their pursuits of esoteric perfection, and need to reconsider the hand writing on the cosmic wall. Did the stars declare their own spirits? Did Ancestors declare such spirits to be sacred for their children? Is there really any difference to a mortal who comes into the cosmos and finds the messages thousands of years after they first communicated with mortals? These questions can be answered if we look toward the stars with a perspective of several cycles of the precession.

The eagle's stars demonstrate the action of a prodigal son in the movement of Antinous relative to the center of the earth. It is this epic of the prodigal son that defines and redefines the human soul. The fact that the sacred city of Teotihuacan was oriented to this flight of the eagle, is a clear indication that this story about a journey to heaven has passed around the world. The Mesoamericans understood this flight as the reincarnation of First Father, when Hanahpu was victorious over the Lords of Xibalba. The design of the sacred city of Teotihuacan was how they chose to pass cosmic wisdom on to their children. When the head of the child on the back of the eagle is directly over Teotihuacan, the prodigal son returns from his wandering way. The fact that all of the ancient myths say that the eagle's flight was a repeat journey, or a message of reincarnation, suggests that the knowledge of the eagle's flight has been around for more than the past 28,500 years shown below.
