After they had accomplished the liberation of Amun, they built great temples at Luxor and Karnak to demonstrate their loyalty to Amun, "the hidden one." Egypt had recorded in the engravings of these temples the truth regarding the "Temple in Man." They had wrestled the "bull of my mother," and had won an unprecedented victory. The echoes of their accomplishments are handed down to us in the Greek story of Theseus and the Minotaur, and the Persian story of Mithras and his victory over the bull. The power of the constellations Taurus, Aries, Cetus, and Perseus were released during these times.
The referenced verses from the Bible provided above indicate how the Hebrews saw the events that unfolded during the period known as the 1st of Aries. On thing is quite clear, the transition from Taurus to Aries was a battle with a very stubborn being known as the "Son of Man." He was attempting to shed his bestiality through aggression and conquest. But the aggression was a reaction to the need for affection. Had civilization acknowledged the feminine nature of the cosmos, the Yin, then the aggression would have changed to nurture. This tendency to aggressively acquire that nurturing which is the "life giving water" often begins as a defensive action. Successful defense then over extends itself into acquisition of the assets of the conquered. That was precisely the state Egypt was in as the fourteenth century began.
Between 1400 BC and 1200 BC, the world experienced a profound change as the age of the God Kings came to an end. This transition into Iron Age I from the Bronze Age saw substantial rise in anarchy throughout the Western World. It began its historical presence during the reign of the Pharaoh Amenophis IV, but its seed was an outgrowth of the Amun cult in Egypt during the reign of Amenophis III. This Pharaoh was conceivably the richest "King of Kings" to ever inhabit the Earth. In Akhenaten, The Heretic King, Donald Redford had the follow to say about Amenophis III. Amenophis became Egypt's "Sun-King" in truth, adopting the sobrequet "the Dazzling Sun-Disc"; before the close of his reign he had attracted the epithet "Horus" par excellence, and later generations remembered him as the great "Hor." "King of Kings, Ruler of rulers," . . . he who lays Egypt's foundations . . ." these epithets, bombastic though they seem, were not far off the mark: Amenophis III and the Egypt he ruled never had been, nor would be again, in such a position of absolute power in the world. (pg. 35) The masculine idealism which had empowered the Amunists to conquer the world came from the balance of feminine strength which they had garnered for Taurean Egypt. But Aries was the recognized age of self awareness, and that led to excesses which were not particularly healthy from a feminine emotional point of view. In his final years, Amenophis III requested assistance from his brother-in-law, Tushratta of Mittanni. Tushratta responded by a declaration from Ishtar of Nineveh, "to Egypt, the land which I love, I will go."(Redford, pg. 52) Although the correspondence between Tushratta and Amenophis III was in regards to ailing health, the invasion of Egypt by the goddess of Nineveh was under way.
During the reign, a sect of the Amun cult began to separate itself from the mainline cult and came to be known by their god, Aten. According to Redford, Aten only means "disc" (pg. 170). However, Redford, whose credentials on the subject are impeachable, does not understand the celestial nature of all our Pagan ancestors. In his presentations, the disc is the shape of the sun. What will be shown by the celestial correspondences is that the disc is in fact the galaxy itself.
When Amenophis IV ascended to the throne of Egypt, there is substantial evidence to support the existence of a coup d'etat by the priests of Aten. Amenophis IV celebrated a sd festival within two years of ascending to the throne. Within five years, Amenophis IV changed his name to Akhenaten, and began a purge of all other theologies and temples from Egypt. The origin of Akhenaten is clouded by the subsequent actions after his reign, but there is no doubt whatsoever, that the effect was equivalent to a coup d'etat. A coup d'etat probably executed by the priests of Aten for the sake of religious dominance and perceived righteousness. The result was the birth of a phenomenon known as "religious persecution." It happened precisely on cue from the passover of the vernal equinox by the "angel of death" in the constellation of Perseus. Aten was the first great destroyer of the bull of Egypt.
On the occasion of the premature sd festival, the Atenists prepared to build temples with names meaning "the Sun-disc is found," "the mansion of the benben-stone," "sturdy are the monuments of the Sun-disc forever," and "exalted are the monuments of the Sun-disc forever (pg. 63)." All of this planned construction activity is typical of a coup d'etat, as was the celebration of the sd festival in the second year of his reign. Momentum for the sd festival celebration may have been due to the fact that Amenophis III had properly celebrated the sd festival in years 30, 34, and 37. The next sd festival for Amenophis III would have been in year 40 of his reign, but he died in the middle of his thirty-eighth year. Thus the fourth sd festival of the undisputed "King of Kings" was probably celebrated by the rising priesthood to strengthen their position.
The sd festivals were never celebrated until a Pharaoh had achieved thirty years on the throne. Egyptologists have not provided information why the thirty years was necessary, however, we can anticipate the reason for celebration based upon the cycles of the planets. Saturn was the planet which represented time to the ancient civilizations. Saturn requires approximately 29.5 years to complete its circuit of the sun. Thus, when a Pharaoh exceeded thirty years reign, the living Horus was technically older than any variable star in the heavens. This would be a time to celebrate the completion of the circuit of stars and the sd festival often required the Pharaoh to run around his "resting place," or earthly domain in recognition of that fact. A sd festival represented a carnival of carnivals, at which the subjects of the realm would be given great gifts of food and substance. In Redford's perception, the sd festival of Amenophis IV was designed as an "atmosphere of hilarity and fervent loyalty" in order to buy Egypt for the Pharaoh, if not in actuality for the Atenist priests (pg. 136).
The events leading up to and after the reign of Amenophis IV are absolutely the most important events in Western Civilization. These events set the stage for the battle between the Yin and Yang, female and male, aspects of Eastern and Western civilizations, that would continue for thirty four centuries. To understand what happened, we need to go to the "horizon of the Sun-disc" to see what these priests were up to. The city they founded for Amenophis IV was called Akhetaten, which means horizon or resting place of the Aten. Amenophis IV, which means "Amenophis the Divine, the Ruler of Thebes," changed his name to Akhenaten, which means "He who is useful to the Sun-disc," or perhaps "Glorified Spirit of the Sun-Disc" (pg. 141). This is a substantial reduction in the primacy of the Pharaoh. Prior to Akhenaten, the Pharaoh was the living Horus, and had all the powers of his father the Creator, for Pharaoh means "the great house." Akhenaten was reduced to be a tool in the proverbial hands of Aten.
If we look at Akhetaten and recall the words defining its creation, the message is unmistakable. According to Redford Akhenaten said that Aten chose the place as the Sun-disc's "seat of the First Occasion (i.e. the first moment of creation), which he had made for himself that he might rest in it." (Pg. 139) Redford looked around the Nile river banks and described the desolate place, but Redford failed to understand the meaning of the words "seat of the First Occasion." To understand these words, it is necessary to know the signs of the times. It is also necessary to know how the stars move in the heavens relative to the first day of spring on Earth. In other words, the Aten priests were defining the location based upon their knowledge of the precession of the equinoxes. The moment of creation has to do with the Sun-disc, not the disc of the sun. Egypt did not believe that the sun was flat, Egypt believed that the galaxy was flat. By observation of the stars over thousands of years, it is apparent that the ecliptic plane and the galactic plane do not move relative to each other. This is true for periods of thousands of years, but that is because the sun takes approximately 220,000,000 years to circle the galaxy. A single cycle of the Great Year, twenty six thousand seasonal years, requires approximately 0.01% of the circuit of the sun around the galaxy. For all but theological and eternal cosmological purposes, the sun is fixed in the galaxy. On a theological basis, the constellations will all disappear during a circulation of the galaxy by the sun. The shape and configuration of the Horus of Two Horizons will stay practically unchanged. The center of the galaxy which is between Sagittarius, Ophiuchus and Scorpio will remain, along with the edge of the galaxy in Auriga. Sagittarius, Ophiuchus, Scorpio, and Auriga will become distorted sufficiently in ten million years that recognition of these constellations will no longer be possible. Thus, it is the galaxy that is the true resting place of our Cosmic Being which can be seen with the unaided human eye. Constellations are just a passing image of member stars in the galaxy. They have never been where they are now (this Great Year), nor will they ever be in their present locations ever again. Everything is changing, and everything in the cosmos is moving. That was the message inscribed in the symbol of the Utchat as the trailing tear of the Divine Wind. Within our galaxy, the stars have personalities based upon the cosmic perception of their places relative to the sun. Those personalities are unique in time, and uniquely comprehended from each star. These identities are multiplied by the number of galaxies, which is on the same order as the number of stars in the Milky Way. All of this existence is unique, and yet it obeys the laws of the seven spirits of God.
At a time when the Pharaoh of Egypt was the undisputed ruler of the world, the priests rose to the occasion to establish a solar-galactic kingdom that would never cease, or would at least be in existence for millions of years. With this level of cosmic consciousness, there should be little wonder that the priests would establish a place which they could call the "seat of the First Occasion." To Egypt, and most of the Pagan world, the dead of cosmic winter and the middle of the cosmic night occurred when the vernal equinox reached its lowest position in the galaxy. Like a seed which falls to the ground in Autumn, cosmic spirituality begins to rise to spring time from this location. It is therefore, the moment when the first occasion of a new life cycle can be defined. As illustrated in Son of Man Rises at JPL, the vernal equinox sits directly on the "seat of the First Occasion" in 1997. When the vernal equinox sat upon the horizon at Ares Vallis at 15:58 UT on July 4, 1997, an absolutely amazing event occurred at Akhetaten, Egypt (El Armana today). The axis of the galaxy passed directly through the site which the Aten told Akhenaten to chose as the resting place of the Sun-disc. This is astronomical and archaeological evidence of most profound importance. There could be no better way to demonstrate their knowledge of the cosmos, and its Master, than to establish a central place for eternal life on Earth which corresponds with the central axis of the Horus of Two Horizons, which we call the Milky Way. On a theological basis, Akhetaten was founded so that its nadir would align directly to the bottom of the galaxy when the vernal equinox rested at the very bottom of the ecliptic path relative to the galaxy. Modern scientists, including astronomers, do not recognize an up or down to the cosmos, much less a beginning or end. Scientific esotericism is "objective." This is just another way of saying, that the senses are not important, if a precise mathematical theory cannot be defined to describe the message from the senses. Rationality in science overwhelms the source of truth, which is intuition. In this way it successfully defeats the "Bull of My Mother."
