Comparison of Doppler Expansion and Gravity Redshift
Note the expansion velocity is limited, and therefore, the size of the universe is limited with the Doppler Effect Hubble redshift values, Ho = 50 and Ho = 100 to 10-20 billion years. |

Gravity effected redshift does not limit the size of the universe as sharply as the Doppler Effect. Gravity consumes the energy in light such that the ability to measure the total dimensions of the universe may not be feasible, if the universe is larger than the distance which light can travel before it ceases to have sufficient energy to be measured. |
