Note the location of the mouth of Quetzalcoatl is on the nadir, precisely as illustrated
in the development work essay for Santa Rosa, Guatemala, which resulted in the publication Ujuxte, Guatemala. The same celestial site has been shown to be associated with Luxor, Egypt, and its Valley of the Kings.

This is the starting point for the Egyptian myth of the flight of Isis, which ends at Aquila. Here we see the king, Osiris-Orion, being placed in the "Lake of Fire" and sent down the river by his brother Seth. Seth is the Greek Typhon, and the modern rabbit constellation, Lepus. This constellation is the donkey, or ass, of Biblical tradition, of which it is said, "Thy King cometh, riding upon an ass."

In Gen 22:1-14, Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. This place had a long tradition in Egypt at the beginning of the path of the Flight of Isis.

In Exodus 4:20-22, Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt, and said to the Pharaoh, "Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn."

Again in Exodus 13:13 it is said, "every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem."

In Numbers 22:20-35, Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab. After struggling with the ass, even Balaam came to an understanding of the stubborn behavior of the beast of burden, as the path of the Flight of Isis was completed.

In the Book of Judges 19:25-30, we see that the whole flight of the woman was divided into the twelve sections we know as the zodiac. "Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel." This concubine was Isis, the Cosmic Mother, divided as a measure of time along the path of the Chosen Wandering Ones (planetary zodiac houses), and along the path of the equinoxes (hours of precession).

In Zechariah 9:9 we are given the whole message under the heavens from Sirius to Altair, "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." Although Seth was the original ass of Egypt, the use of the metaphor has lasted far beyond Egypt.

In the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, Matt 21:1-9 warns all would be kings of the humility of the journey on the ass and her colt. "Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me." The value of the brightest star in the heavens as a guide to the material and spiritual journey of life was not lost by human civilization until the last millennium, or so. As we retrieve the ancient celestial wisdom and other artifacts left by ancestors, we should also heed the warning they recorded along the way. "Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass." Canis Major is the ass, and her foal is Lepus. These two constellations were recorded in the Great Pyramid of Khufu, to remind us of the prospect of coming into our own presence, before our own countrymen are ready to accept our own perception of what has always been. The archaeology of Australia, like anywhere else, will reveal the obvious facts of life, first. The subtile nuances of personal preference will mask the obvious messages. Monuments are created to record the idea of celebrating life, everything else is personality.

We read the ancient messages in the monumental artifacts with the eyes of desire. Judges 15:11-20 reminds us of a man who could not balance desire and rage. There, a "Great Man" found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. So, when we speak of new discoveries, we need to recognise the potential to destroy lives if what we speak is the offspring of unbalanced desire and rage. This story of Sampson is another description of the Flight of Isis, for it covers the same celestial ground. It is not "new" to us, any more than it was "new" to the authors of the story of Sampson. If it were "new," why would be finding the message inscribed on artifacts too old to date?

The Flight of Isis was also recorded in Luke 2:1-7 as the "Mother of God," who was Isis to Egypt and all the ancient world, journeyed to Bethlehem. Modern renditions place the "Mother of God" on the back of an ass, even though the original text of Luke did not do so. This rendition may be personality being projected onto the heavens by witnesses, but the end of that journey leaves nothing to be imagined. "She brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." The inn was the twelve resting places of the sun, which is the bones of the concubine in Judges 19:25-30, our modern zodiac. In the Popol Vuh, Quetzalcoatl brings forth the First Father from the Mouth of First Mother, also along the path of the Flight of Isis as the babe in swaddling clothes. In Revelation, the concubine of Babylon is sent out into the wilderness at the birth of a thirteenth house on the zodiac, as Libra, the man child to rule with an iron hand.

If we find the same celestial imagery in the heavens of Australia, we should remember the jawbone which Sampson used. Proof that the Aborigine read the heavens is not necessary. All people who wonder about life beyond an insignificant self bewilderment, must read messages in the heavens. It is inevitable. But, when all the messages provide the same sense of up and down, the Aboriginal message declares ancient unification on a global basis. Our quest, beyond the legends we have cast into the heavens as sacred scriptures, is to determine if the ideas of the sacred scriptures were carried to Australia, or derived from Australia. The oldest known records in rock art come from the Aborigine. In interpreting them, we must keep our projections from overwhelming the ancient meanings. This means we need to let the ancient voice be heard in all its wisdom, without subtracting form it, or adding to it. This is the difficulty of archaeology. Those of us who love the ancestors tend to add wisdom they never had. Those of us who love modern culture tend to take away obvious wisdom which shows that culture has not learned, in modern times, as much as we give ourselves credit for. One fact is quite clear. What we know about the past was known before it passed. The story of Balaam and his she ass is as good a guide to archaeology as we can ever find.

Numbers 22:20-35
29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.
32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:
33 And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.
35 And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

We seekers of mysteries of the great stone circles are the modern Philistines. Here walk with the Princes of Balak in the form of Australia's Aborigine art. If we can hear the word as they spoke it, then Sampson's jawbone will not destroy so many lovers of stone (lover of stone > philo-stone > philistine).
