The following celestial locations represent the views through the Grand Gallery of the Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt. They tell the story of the Pyramids, and why these monuments are still the greatest accomplishment of humankind. The story is the epic tale of the Eternal Return, and the establishment of a kingdom that will last forever, based upon the learning achieved during five ages of the sun. The last epoch was known around the world as the Age of the Fifth Sun, when enlightenment would be received by mankind. The meaning is fairly clear when the pyramids are aligned to tell the story they hold within their secret chambers. The monument acts as a computer which provides the necessary information to know when humankind will be ready to assume its proper place under the rule of the King of Kings. Listen to Daniel's words as he translates the dream locked into the architecture of the Pyramids of Giza into a literal form which can be carried by all who can read and understand.
Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a
great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before
thee; and the form thereof was terrible.
This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
This dream of kings is the story of Osiris and every heroic king who ever set out to establish a civilization worthy of a kingship. These actions were taken by real men, many of whom have had their names written into the Book of Life. But, not a king worth his salt ever saw his own existence as anything more than a subordinate soldier to that Cosmic Force which controls all destiny. The honest kings shed their pride under the humbling pressure of leading civilization through the mystery of time. In the essay on Khufu's Pyramid, the original vision was presented, as it was constructed, circa 2450 BC. That vision was recovered some four years ago. Now, we have recovered the full story of the Great Pyramid's relationship to the cosmos, and it is indeed a story worthy of the greatest of kings.
The dream of the King of Kings is defined by the Grand Gallery in Khufu's monument to the Creator. Here is the view as the belt stars of Orion approach the summer solstice.
The angle between the Grand Gallery and the descending entrance passageway are reflection angles at approximately 26.5 degrees from horizontal. In the Khufu essay, the orientation of the pyramid was shown to be such that the Grand Gallery aligned with the constellation Lepus, which is the Egyptian celestial house of Seth. Seth is the usurping brother of Osiris, the first king of Egypt who is the first born son of Heaven and Earth, Nut and Geb. The internal passageways radiating from the King's chamber and the Queen's chamber identified the time of the construction to several researchers in archaeoastronomy. But, the Grand Gallery alignment and the north entrance alignments remained enigmas. Some researchers erroneously described the entrance passageway as being pointed to the north celestial pole. Now that the celestial house of Horus has been recovered, it is clear that the pyramid builders may have been the most vivid dreamers the world has ever known. There dreams were not fantasies without substance. Their dreams were visions of the potential of substance which indicated that civilization could one day come to know the Mind of God. All that was required was the light from the stars and sufficient time to carry out the process of discovery. The pyramids were constructed to keep the dream from being lost to the Kings of Kings in future generations.
Anyone who has led a great team of people knows the answer to the riddle of the pyramids. The answer is in the establishment of realistic goals which appear beyond the grasp of mortal beings. It is in reaching toward the eternal beyond that we actually stretch and become more than we otherwise would become. Like a world championship sports team, each individual must place their complete destiny into the goal. The miracle that happens when we stretch our mundane perception is that the Creator's Eye comes down to our world and lifts us up through a process we have come to know as learning.
As we learn, it becomes clear that the knowledge we gain existed before we set out to learn. The knowledge was hidden for us to find in a place called reality. It was up to us to find the switch and turn on the light that would reveal reality to us. But, this is a process of taking the physical body designed by the Creator and accepting the light which is the consciousness of the Creator. The vignette above illustrates the dream coming down from the mind of the Creator to reinvigorate the body which does not perceive. Newton may deserve credit for development of the equations of the Law of Gravity, but who is it that deserves the credit for causing gravity to behave according to the law which Newton developed into a mathematical form? Who, or whatever, that force is, it is the Cosmic Creator. We are not forced to believe in this Cosmic Force, for we are given the potential to doubt. The doubting process is not independent of the Cosmic Force, for gravity works on the heart as well as the body. The gravity of our doubts will cause us to fall into a bottomless pit. The only way out of the bottomless pit is to give up that Self Identity which accepts doubt rather than reality. This is how Seth killed Osiris. He doubted reality in favor of personal identity.
Beside the sleeping body of a potential king sit two companions. These companions are the link to the Reality which we must seek in order to restore the potential of our kingdom. One has a throne on her head. Her name is Isis, and she is a metaphor for feelings. These are the inner intuitive voices which reveal information which has never been learned by personal experience in the physical body we are given at birth. This neter of Egypt knows the name of Ra, for her intuition reveals all possibilities, without the experience of any possibilities. The other companion has a house on her head. Her name is Nephthys, and she is a metaphor for the senses. It is through the senses that the potential king in the body can communicate with the material reality, which is the house built by the Cosmic Creator. These companions are self evident, and their purpose is clearly a result of Cosmic Intent. Without these neters, the potential king is just carrion for a jackal, without potential for revivification.
The Egyptian symbol for the Creator is an Eye. The form of the eye is the Utchat. It contains the hieroglyphs for the fractions 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, and 1/64. These total 63/64, and represent the approach to unity. The smallest fractions are the two tears. The forward tear is a straight line with a water droplet descending upon it. This is the image of first impressions. They seem so straight and so vivid, that we are prone to believe in them as if time stands still. The second tear is a spiral, which represents constant change. This is the image of final impressions, and the cyclical changes of the spiral are often lost to habitual perceptions that confirm our first impressions. However, everything is changing, for that is the nature of creation. The changes may be small when compared as a few cycles, or a tangent to a single cycle. As we would like to believe that we can reach a stable condition, we must remain aware of the ever changing vision of the Creator's Eye. When we lose our awareness of the changes occurring, we fall into a sleeping form which becomes our habits. This is the state which the rational mind forces the body into, as rote learning and habit dictate the body's' movements. This is the body of Osiris in the microscopic view. In a cultural perspective, the socio-scopic view is the paradigms of a civilized form of ritual and order. In a cosmic macroscopic view, the whole universe acts habitually in response to actions far distant in the past. These reactions are reincarnations and revivifications of the past.
The Egyptian word for tear and the Egyptian word for people are essentially the same. Thus, we are the tears of the Creator. The goal of life is to remove the tears from the eye of the Creator. That cannot be accomplished with first and final impressions. That cannot be accomplished with the struggle between creationism and evolutionism. The only way to remove the tears from the Creator's Eye is to acknowledge that humans will never reach the Unknowable One. When that perspective is found, the human perspective becomes part of the vision of the Creator. Then the human becomes part of the Unknowable One. Along the way to this discovery, we must lose the tears, and restore the insight and the foresight which were present before time. These visions are seen with the eyes of Osiris and Ra, respectively. The effect on the living soul is a form of appreciation known as agape love. The tears for 1/64 and 1/32 are removed as we back away from visual perfection for the sake of peace and harmony. Agape love knows that faults are just unlearned truths, and that love is the Great Comforter that provides the safe harbor for all journeys toward truth.
When Isis received the Eye of Ra, she gave it to her husband Osiris. His hieroglyph is a throne with an eye sitting upon it. The metaphor is quite simple, when the Creator rests, the Eye "sits" upon the dark throne of feelings, waiting for the light to come on again. This is why Osiris is known as the past, and Ra is known as the future. They are the same being. Though Osiris appears to be dead, what was known by Osiris can be learned by other living bodies, thus Osiris is more like a tree waiting for the vernal sun to rise again. In the substance of our human form, Osiris is the DNA record which guides the fertile egg toward birth in the mother's womb. When the future living bodies receive the messages from the past, they "learn" to turn on the light of conscious perception, and that is when they become one with the Creator. This was the fundamental goal in building the greatest monuments ever constructed by mankind. The goal was to leave a message so that lost children in the future could look back on history and realize that the ancients were no different than they. If the ancients could accomplish their works, then the future generations could accomplish their's as well. A more profound message for any creature is not possible. It is this very potential to achieve and expand upon life after death, that sets humanity apart from the other animals. We can communicate across the ages through our feelings and senses, just like the animals. But, unlike us, the animals do not have a means by which they can tell the future to their children. The best the animals can do is be a good example for their children. If that was all humans could do, then we would be blissfully happy, without fear of death.
The price we humans must pay for this gift of prophecy is that we can foresee death and destruction. We can see the light at the top of the mountain and the darkness in the cave under the mountain. That gives us a greater responsibility than the animals. When we educate our children about the future, we have to be careful that we do not reveal the message of death, without revealing a corresponding purpose for life. Without a vision of this dream of the King of Kings, civilizations simply fail to continue. To protect the dream, the information is coded in such manner that only those who have achieved a form of royalty (success) can understand the information. If a child does not appreciate life, then death is a threat which cannot be overcome. This potential to lead the children to death's door is the cause for the enigma in ancient monuments. Without the enigma, the children would simply give up any responsibility, and settle for whatever fate has in store for them, or steal it from others. With the enigma, the child can attempt to become a Son of God, and ascend to the highest heavens, where dreams are just thoughts transcending the material substance to become a form of reality which is reincarnated Cosmic Intent. This is not fate, this is self creation, the dream of the King of Kings. When this message is revealed, it produces awe and humility, as the tears fall away from the Creator's Eye.
Examine and "watch" the following sequence of views up the Grand Gallery, which tell the story that is the enigma of the Great Pyramids, and realize that you have yet to begin your own dream of tomorrow. There is a place in the heavens for each child that seeks a message which reveals that the Cosmic Intent is descending from heaven to give them abundant life on earth. The star charts are focused through the Grand Gallery of the Great Pyramid. This is the "computer" that illustrates time and the life cycle of Osiris, Seth, and Horus. The two green lines that cross the star charts are crosshairs on the axis of the Grand Gallery. The vertical line is the south meridian. The horizontal line is 26.5 degrees above the south horizon. It is a window in time. And a story of incomprehensible beauty passes before the window of the Grand Gallery in a cycle that repeats itself over a period of approximately 26,000 years. The daily sky moves from left to right. The seasons also move from left to right over the 26,000 year cycle. As they do, the figures rock back and forth with Osiris leading for half the time, and Horus leading for the other half, while Seth struggles between the generations of the Father and the Son. As Orion crosses the meridian of the summer solstice, Horus, the son of this Egyptian father god, will have risen to elevation of the Grand Gallery. Today we are beginning the period for which Horus will lead the way across the meridian of the southern skies at Giza for the next 13,000 years. This is the moment the pyramids were designed to herald. It is the return of Cosmic Consciousness after passing through the Valley of Death. Horus can now descend the Grand Gallery and be reflected to the house of the celestial king, sitting on top of the World Tree, as Cepheus becomes the constellation at the north pole. As the belt stars crest on the summer solstice, the earth will be aligned with the house of a king sitting directly on the axis of the north pole. For the better part of eight thousand years, our descendants will look to the north and see that the world axis turns in the house of a celestial king. The Egyptian myth of their King of Kings being brought back to life in the Kingdom of Heaven will become fact, even though the story has been lost and forgotten for thousands of years. Or has it?
Ankaa, the head star of the constellation Phoenix sat square on the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery in 10,450 BC, as the vernal equinox crested over the top of its passage over the Milky Way.
On the same occasion, the man lying at the bottom of the cosmos passed through the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery. These were premonitions that the Creator's journey at the northern vernal equinox in his Solar Barque was about to encounter a period of falling for 13,000 years. The goal being to raise the man to his feet and set him upon the circuit of the heavens.
A man with a head of a bull is the focus of the Grand Gallery in 10450 BC, as Orion occupies the winter solstice. This is the lowest position of Orion, and the highest orientation of the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery. It is positioned between a headless man and the "Bull of My Mother," for this bull is the Cow of Hathor.
By 5950 BC, the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery were on the belt of Orion. The ancestral king has done most of the creative work of causing civilization, and now the siblings will begin to bicker over the parcels the king has made. Notice how Orion crosses the meridian of the Grand Gallery before the donkey and the dove.
If Osiris is a metaphor for the original king that caused "truth" to become known, then his brother Seth is a metaphor for the individual that realizes a personal identity which is separate from the king's. The king has given an example, but the sibling is not interested in any effort or suffering, just the wealth created. This is a very important time. We cannot have usurpers before we have kingdom makers. Usurpers are not creative, for all they see is their own knowledge. All rational beings are usurpers. They act sophomorish because they "believe" they "know" the goal. But, they do not "know" the goal, just the appearance of the goal which their feelings and senses inform them about. The usurper is quick to believe that the power of the kingdom is in rational control of the subjects. The usurpers will always show themselves, and their intent, by creating small boxes in which they can store relics of the past. The small boxes are sent down a stream of consciousness, but the whole body from which the relics are taken is never conceived by the usurpers, for they did not create the kingdom. This is how all great leaders eventually meet their doom, the future leaders fail to be creative, and they take control of a kingdom their own actions have not caused. They become bureaucratic robots with enough "knowledge" to appear powerful. What is missing in all rational usurpation is the force of creative ignorance from which the originating process evolves. This dark hole is always avoided by the usurpers, who seek the light, but not the understanding. In this case, the usurper Seth is shown as a "snot nosed donkey," who "sees" the serpent's head, and visualizes the coffin beyond. The rational mind is a place filled with boxes containing fear of unrighteousness. It is this fear that keeps all rational usurpers from becoming creative leaders. That is why they must take what they have not earned as a defense against perceived self impotence.
In 2545 AD, we see that the Grand Gallery points to the house of Horus. This bird carries substance in its mouth that leaves little doubt that it is building a nest. It is not afraid of the serpent, for it is blinded by the goal. Should it become aware of the dangerous menace, the naive little bird will see the Phoenix beyond the serpent on the other side of the river. What danger is death to this nest builder? None! For death to the nest builder is not having offspring to occupy the nest. This is an act of self denial which results in the reward of fruits on the Tree of Life. Danger lurks above the bird in the usurping mind of the "snot nosed donkey," who chooses to believe what will retain the selfish perspective. It is incredibly naive to believe that a society living off a muddy river in an inhospitable desert could ever become a great civilization. However, the bird of Horus will occupy the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery some five thousand years after the construction of the gallery through which it is to return. That is all the message any child needs to know. Faith in reality is the intent which reveals that death is a fantasy whose time can never come.
In 7925 AD, the "snot nosed donkey" will return to the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery. Only, when this happens, the dream of a Great Civilization will have been fulfilled. Orion and Canis Major (Osiris and Isis) will be parallel to the meridian of the Grand Gallery, as their son, Horus, leads the way. Once Horus passes the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery, he leads his father and his uncle, his mother and his aunt (Canis Minor) past the meridian, for 13,000 years. This Horus was the sibling of Osiris, and the second born son of Heaven and Earth, Horus the Elder. During the times when Osiris was leading the way, Horus the Elder was consciousness in a phase of learning. After the death of Osiris, the learning phase of consciousness was passed and the experiences of the past were called upon to overtake the usurping sibling. Cosmic Consciousness can be denied when doubt overpowers experience, or as the Egyptians put it, when Seth cuts Osiris to pieces in the minutia of rationalizations. But, we must also remember that a rationalization is a conscious expression of feelings (Isis) which may, or may not, have a valid sensual basis (Nephthys). The Egyptians covered this scenario by telling the story of Isis letting Seth loose after Horus had captured him, and how Seth never had any children by his own wife, Nephthys. Having children is not a rational material approach to success. In the usurper's mind, children are just a threat to future security. But, in the successful enterprises of life, children are the way of the future. That is the story seen looking toward the children of Nut and Geb, who are the children of Virgo and Sculptor in the celestial form of Orion, Columba, Lepus, Canis Major, Canis Minor.
By 10,690 AD, Orion's belt will again be on the crosshairs of the Grand Gallery. Seth and Horus will be running neck and neck, as Isis retreats from the meridian and Horus comes down toward the horizon at Giza. This race around the sun can be won or lost, depending upon whether the children of tomorrow can hear the voice of yesterday. The monuments were constructed so that the voice of yesterday would survive the trials of the Prince of This World, and be heard by the Prince of Peace, who the Egyptians called the Son of God.
By 15350 AD, Orion will have retreated to the winter solstice again. The king will then ride upon the "Colt of an Ass," as he comes into the City of God. The crosshairs of the Grand Gallery will again be focused on the missing head at the wilderness between a bull and a man. Though the bull we will encounter on the next cycle of the Eternal Return is not likely to be the same bull we defeated in the last cycle, one fact should be clear. The dream of the King of Kings will not fade from the memory of human civilization. We have yet to consciously perceive, in our collective awareness, that kingdom Daniel spoke about. We can be sure that it will include creativity, feelings, senses, memories, and usurping siblings. If we listen to the voice of the greatest monuments ever made by men, we will realize that Cosmic Consciousness is not a fantasy in a wilderness, it is a fantasy in reality. Truth is its name, and preservation of truth was the goal of constructing the greatest monuments ever made by the hand of man. Truth is lost when the image of self identity shines brighter than the Sun.
Though the king may turn his head away from his dream, now that it has been interpreted for him. We can be assured that he will again wish for the days when life was just the simple process of leading one generation to find the views of the Grand Gallery. How do I know this? The child of the Virgin, who had come to know the name of the Creator, told me that a little birdie had told his mother that is was so. This may not please the rational mind, but truth rarely does, for truth to the rational mind is what Seth, the Prince of This World, desires to control.
And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.
And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.
And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?
And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.
We occupy the Sun Boat a mere four and a half millennia since the originators of the Great Civilization first caused their monuments to be built. They knew we would deny the dream, because they were just human creatures with an incredible vision. They believed the message of the nesting bird and they understood the recalcitrance of the donkey. Many have failed to accomplish the dream of the King of Kings, but those of the pyramid building generations provided a legacy which can never be exceeded. We have gone to the Moon and Mars, and beyond the solar system, in search of scientific truth. As we find truth, we strip all meaning from it because we are just as afraid of death as our ancestors. This dual nature is the battle between Seth and Horus. It is a struggle between Self Consciousness and Cosmic Consciousness. The struggle will never end, for one cannot survive without the other. If all creatures were to conform to the Cosmic Intent, then all life forms would be puppets on strings. Some of the strings can be severed without endangering life. These are the strings that make for the feeling of freedom, while at the same time creating a dependency which darkens our focus on the future of reality. Without the darkness caused by fearful self consciousness, we cannot appreciate the enlightenment which comes. It is in this appreciation that we find the meaning of the Eternal Return. The cycles of love and fear carry no meaning beyond the apparition of time, but the journey is everything.
Seth looks over the shoulder of the conscious dreamer. Because dying is a possibility, we must look behind ourselves to be assured that the moment of death knocks is not at hand. But, we must have the dream before the consciousness, if we are to proceed forward in the times of our lives. The struggle between the two fighters is said to last for eighty years. An implication being that by the time we achieve the age of eighty, we can work jointly in the interest of the greater self and the greater culture, or we submit to the forces of nature. We will always be children of the universe, regardless of what we come to know. That is the way it is drawn in the Book of Life in the heavens. That is the way it is recorded in the Books of Life on earth.
We will become ancestors one day, as our children take our place in the Sun Boat. If we pass enough information on in the annals of history, then those children will have an adventure we could never imagine. Two decades ago, the Internet was just a jumbled highway for academics. What a great opportunity life offers those who will pass through and raise up the serpent in the wilderness. The serpent and the barque are both going in the same direction. Above Orion is the Chariot of the Gods. To ride that chariot, it is necessary to pass through the Gateway of Men. Behind the serpent and the stern of the Sun Boat is the center of the galaxy, which is the womb that gave birth to all living souls in our Solar System. The passage back to the womb is through the Tree of Life. Repression, regression, and arrogance, are just actions of a "snot nosed donkey" who would rule the world by edict and rational command. The problem is that the rational mind turns away from its intuitive mother in the false belief that rational security is true security. Rational truth rarely is secure, for rational sciences keep turning the paradigms of the past over and over. The Prince of this world needs a place to exercise and then exorcise self identity in order to become One in the Eye's of Creation.
The heavens show that the Sun Boat occupies half the circle of the south celestial pole. The other half is occupied by the serpent. Between these two is the little bird the Egyptians called Horus. The bird demonstrates that the goal of future life can only be achieved by passing through the serpent. Thus, the boat is the rational vessel of the conscious mind, and the serpent is the nonrational vessel which bears the children of tomorrow.
Hardship and lack of understanding will always be part of the processes of life. Identity is that essence which comes into focus when the hardships are overcome. But, the objective of slaying the serpent is not to cause the death of another, nor prevent the death of one's self. The serpent's head must be taken in order to allow an identity to reach the Tree of Life. Every child must be weaned from its mother, whether the mother is the intuitive "Bull of My Mother", or the subtle Serpent in the Garden. We are not born to kill the intuition which reveals life, we are born to satisfy the desire to love life. Love is the serpent of desire. It is not rational. But, without that nonrational essence, life would have no purpose whatsoever. The purpose is to lift up the serpent in the wilderness, and thereby, yield fruit on the Tree of Life.
The story beyond the crosshairs of the Great Pyramid provide a focus of incredible awe. It is so powerful an image, that the mind goes numb when it first perceives the possibilities. The numbness is just the Cat of Ra taking the head of the serpent as we lose our own self identity. Once the serpent's head stops blocking the truth, the way to the Tree of Life will be opened, and a New Kingdom will be established.
And in the days of these kings shall
the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the
kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and
consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
